Welcome to my site for the Cox and Haswell Rapier 3100. I am rebuilding this after a database 'problem' so the content is not complete yet.
I have started this site to track and record some information about the remaining craft and bring together the owners. I would like to thank everybody who is emailing and commenting on the boats, owners from past and present every bit of information is greatly appreciated.
There are many Cox & Haswell designs of which the 31′ Rapier 3100 is the most popular. The 26′ Pegasus Mk. I and two aft cabin designs were variations on the standard Rapier 3100 but there were several other C&H designs between 35′ and 38′ therefore this site is dedicated to all of the ‘family’ !
Our boat – Miss Dignity – was the prototype Rapier 3100 (hull #1) and the Earls Court show boat, apparently winning boat of the show award but this is unverified as I don’t know anybody who was there.
The majority of information on here as about the Rapier 3100 however the other Cox and Haswell boats are mentioned wherever I have any information on them, even just a name or a picture.
The 9 known boats are listed under The Boats above, I believe there were 3 more and I am trying to track them down. If you have any further information about these particular boats or know of any that are not listed then please get in touch.
